The New Left Opposes Religious Freedom

Science has learned a cell is infinitely more complex than a watch and one-thousandth the size of a period, the cell is no longer considered merely material and energy shaped by chance. Living cells are now understood as material and energy shaped by design, information or knowledge. Paley's teleological argument requiring a designer has stood the test of time. Reality based upon material or energy shaped by chance, without God given absolutes, is statistically certain to end up in tyranny and moral decay.

In the 1960s, the neo-Marxist New Left decided that the values that built Western greatness were preventing revolution. They set out to reform society, tear down religion and the family. They introduced free sex, free drugs, and flooded the entertainment industry with hedonism. The West changed utterly in the 1960s. The neo-Marxist students at the time later became the leaders of today and slowly broke down the fabric of Western unity and stability.

Repression of free speech, tolerance, and respect for plurality has since become the trademark of Cultural Marxism. Herbert Marcuse, one of the fathers of neo-Marxism, defined how the rebellion was to succeed in tearing down historical values. Majority views were to be crudely oppressed in order to push for the deconstruction of traditions. Marcuse's shocking words reveal the authoritarianism in the New Left pursuit, prescribing repression of large parts of the population as a method to forcefully silence opposition.

Today, hedonism and drug abuse are elevated as liberal values, redefining historical liberalism. The New Left promotes a social revolution of atheistic utopian society where religion no longer exists and traditional family value are dissolved, national boarders disappear, and everyone lives together in harmony. The naïve thought that a neo-Marxist, progressive ruling class would automatically "selflessly serve the people" has been a central flaw in the New left thinking.

Throughout the history of the Soviet Union the Marxist- Leninist policy consistently advocated the control, suppression, and ultimately, the elimination of religious beliefs, and actively encouraged the propagation of Marxist-Leninist atheism. The Christian church has been persecuted Venezuela and Nicaragua. So-called "anti-hate" laws have been used to prosecute religious leaders who speak out against brutal regimes that have impoverished one prosperous people. The state-sanctioned Three-Self Church has long been the only legal place for Christians to worship in China. The government calls its campaign "Sinicization" a euphemism for turning faith into a tool for indoctrination in Chinese Communist Party ideology.

In the United States traditional value are being removed. Beliefs of the right are being called closed minded. Christian bakers who refuse to bake cakes for same-sex weddings are being forced out of business.  The Covid pandemic has been weaponized. Liquor stores and pot stores are often labeled essential, but churches have been closed as non-essential.  At state run colleges outspoken Christians are regularly debased and targeted for their beliefs. Many Christian students are told by others they are hateful, bigoted, and racists. In many of our schools educators are indoctrinating children with "far-left fascism" linked to the Black Lives Matter movement. There is a new far-left fascism that demands absolute allegiance and political correctness.

The left wing New York Times is promoting a new school curriculum called the 1619 Project.  This is a neo-Marxist Critical Race Theory, which blames societies failures on capitalism, and promotes the replacing of Western ideals and democracy with an atheist Marxist totalitarianism. Those  who push white guilt and black victim hood, ignore the fact blacks, Native Americans, and whites all participated as slaveholders.  The critical race theory does not seek justice through the rule of law, it categorizes people as the oppresses or as oppressor. However, history shows that authoritarianism, not utopia, follows Marxist revolutions.  Cuba and Venezuela are examples. America offers minorities the greatest opportunity to prosper.
