Did President Trump Fire Dr. Anthony Fauci?

In private, President Trump has become agitated with Dr. Fauci's public comments.
The President is "fuming privately" that Fauci has advised shutting down businesses and social distancing.

President Trump believes the cure should not be worse than the problem. He has said he wants to reopen the country for business in weeks, not months. There is apparently tension between the administration and some on the medical team. Some argue the economic and human impact from the shutdown and social distancing is a "bigger crisis" than the virus.

The CDC estimates that from October 2019 through March 2020 there were approximately 45 million cases of the flu and approximately 40,000 deaths.  Currently there have been 46,000 cases of the Corona Virus and 400 deaths.  When we think of the relative danger of Covid-19  versus the common flu, Dr. William Schaffner of Vanderbilt, said the Coronavirus will be a blip on the horizon in comparison. Dr. Drew Pinsky believes the flu is more dangerous, and Covid-19 is an overblown press-created hysteria to attempt to keep the mainstream media relevant. The Russian collusion, the impeachment, and now the Coronavirus outbreak are promoted by the media to support the progressive agenda and discredit President Trump.

The U.S. will get through the Coronavirus, but debt and increasing deficits will  remain and cause lasting consequences to the next generation. Viruses do not grow infinitely forever. As with most things in nature, viruses follow a bell curve. Social distancing can flatten the curve or delay it but not stop it.  If the curve is flattened or not the total number of cases is similar. Because Covid-19 is sensitive to UV light and heat it will likely "burn off" as temperatures increase in the spring.  Governments in different locals have politicized a health crisis into a social and economic crisis. Declaration of war or state of emergencies can be beneficial if one removes bureaucratic obstacles, but not if apocalyptic scaremongering is used to promote Orwellian police states.
